Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone knows how much power is lost through the drive train?

Does any one know the conversion?

I have 260awkw and would like to know what this is at the flywheel.

Cheers, stocka.

From what I was told you get the RWKW PLUS 17% =

You loose abut 17% on manuals and from mmeory 21% on automatics. But that depends on Defferent types of boxes, newer automatics will losee a lot less than the old ones.

Do you drive a falcon? awkw means all wheel drive. And 4 wheel drives will loose more power than front or rear wheel drives. Don't know the figures for these though.

I put awkw because I drive a territory turbo which is awd.

From what I understand most of the standard territorys will be about 160awkw on a dyno and ford states that they are 245 at the flywheel.

By working it out this way my 260awkw works out to be 398kw flywheel which is almost 500hp?

Anyone agree or disagree, I would like to know if this is accurate.

Thanks, stocka

I thought most TT's are about 180ish atw. So based on flywheel of 245 makes it about 27% loss.

So your 260kw atw would equate to about 355kw at the fly, (or 475hp)

Hi Stocka, I think you are closer to 365KW.

Our TTG dynoed at 321AWKW and ran 11.8 @ 116mph at 5005lbs.

Using the Moroso calculator that works out at 605HP which is pretty close to 450KW.
