Hi all,

Just took ownership of a brand new G6Et but the audio is lacking.

I have a old kicker 600.1 mono block laying around the house I would like to install (as well as a new 8" sub). I have been reading that it is possible to use the line in/out (was explained better in another thread) and make up some RCA inputs. My question is can you use the existing power/earth wiring or will I need to run a new line?

Ive been though several custom sound installs and really dont want to go through the headache of ripping out the cars guts if I dont have to.

Cheers

the power suppy for the premo amp is NOT good enough to power just about any aftermarket amp.

I've thought same thing but yeah I doubt it would be enough and if it did work It probably wouldn't be that great. Although it would be a huge pita best do do it right the first time.

Reverse the polarity of the stock sub. They are out of phase from the factory. It makes a big difference to the overall sound and costs you nothing.
