took em out myself and had a look. all seemed fine to me. Guess looks could be deceiving though. Would it be better just to replace them, cars at 105,000k with the stock ones.

also would them leaking internally be the cause for my hard starts, and rough vibrating when she starts cold?

The residue on the coils is probably from washing the engine bay. Sounds like the cold start isn't working.

oh, anything is possible I guess. The one thing that confuses me is that everything I read on my symptoms, I always see Increased petrol consumption. My average at the moment is 11.6L/100k, I usually get 480-500k per tank, been this way since I bought the car 7 months ago too. confusing :|

There will be plenty of guys local to you that have a set of stock injectors laying around that want little or nothing for them and they would have been working when they came out.

Actually I think I have a set, bought them from pitlane and they had been tested and then bagged and sent to me. But I ended up going 60lb squirters. Let me know if you want to go down that road and I'll have a look for them next time I'm home.
