1 pack is freekin acylic or whatever. pretty much no such thing as 1 pak, old term anyways.

so what your saying these falcons are sprayed from factory with the paint and clear in one hit? ie the one spray gun?

1 pak is paint and hardener mixed together in one. basically acrylic.

we dont use 1 pack on modern cars

its basically 2 pack clear (clear and hardener) over base (paint) for standard car paint.

im talking external panels anyways, and so was the original post! stone chips remember!! not the freekin engine bay.

you might be right, engine bay maybe different, and yes maybe ford do cut cost in their bays or areas where 2 pack is not needed. that's just ford being tight as they are in the paint sector.

Going to respray my front bumper cause it has stone chips and a fairly big scratch down the left hand side. How have people gone about it as in prepping painting and finalizing etc?

If it turns out sh*t I'll just pay someone to redo it but atm I have the time so I wouldn't mind giving it a crack
