Hows Your Right Arms

Recommended Posts

Does your right arm hurt from driving the T?My inner forearm is sore and I wonder if its because of my driving style?

I tend to rest my left elbow(and half my body weight)on the centre console and just hold the steering wheel with my right hand.(at the top)

This is fine but when it comes to corners, the power steer aint a one finger job, which I like BTW when driving two handed.

Any one else found this ? or is it to much jerking the gerkin overhand.

Well...I won't comment on the gerkin action (I'm sure Ken will though) but I get a sore right arm because I tend to rest my arm/elbow out of the window. After the Sth Coast Rac...ops I mean Cruise my arm was quite sore. I have a dodgy right arm anyway from too much computer mousing (can I file a claim against fordxr6turbo.com?) so I have swapped to being a left handed mouser.

I do find that my forearms feel uncomfortable sometimes. I usually rest arm on door and hold wheel with same hand. Never felt it before. <_<

BA's are much harder to turn the either of the 2 AU' or the EL we've got at home. But much easier than the XA with out power steer & 14' wheel.

One of hte reasons I bought the SSS (Prestomatic) was becuase my left shoulder was playing up more and more which made driving a manual painful and at times almost impossible....

I only drive with the right hand/arm usually - but the same hand/arm gets plenty of other exercise too so it is quite "fit". NO KEN NOT THAT - just lifting the stubbies, tubes, schooners up to the lips ...

Do you really expect that I won't add a post to a thread titled "How's Your Right Arm"? :beerchug:

I'd have to say that I have one of the finest, most well-toned right arms in the business. It's taken a lot of practice, practice, practise, but if you are really focused and want it bad enough, you can achieve anything.

... God I need to get off this forum ... I'm going slowly nuts ... JOHNNY! :birthdaywish:
