When I click the volume up button it seems to be selecting the Bluetooth, when I click it again it will change from FM to AM to Ipod ect. Not one of the buttons on the left hand side steering wheel control are predictable (I press them and they do something else). I thought I had them working when I adjusted the steering wheel but as soon as I drove off and attempted to turn the volume up it activated the Bluetooth. The car's still under warranty and I have it booked in at ford for Thursday. I was wondering if anyone had the same sort of issue? The controls had been working fine up untill last week. Cheers, Luke Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/76069-steering-wheel-buttons/ Share on other sites

The problem was loose battery terminals...get this I was charged $148.50 to clean and tighten them even though my car is still under new car warranty and has a full ford service history..I brought the car in Brisbane three weeks ago and checked with the ford dealer there before putting it in at ford Goondiwindi that it would be covered under warranty..Ive called the Brisbane dealer and I'm waiting to hear back from them... Guest XR09 Guests Posted 29/07/11 02:36 AM Share Posted 29/07/11 02:36 AM (edited) The silver FPV buttons are actually cheaper to buy than the std blk Ford ones. Just in case. I have a spare set too.
