July 20, 201115 yr #1 Just had 3000km"peace of mind" service done on my new fg xr6 turbo ute and had small noise in driveline at about 90-100kph under power, so guess what I need a new diff. Can not complain about service from dealer but have to wait 2 weeks for new diff.I know it is all under warranty but not real good for new car.
July 20, 201115 yr #2 That's common. Been going on since the BA was released (possibly earlier). My old ute's first diff had a whine right at 100km/h. So annoying! The replacement whined too, but it was at a speed that you're never cruising on so I was happy.
July 20, 201115 yr #3 Author Just a bit disappointed I think it is my first ever brand new car,but will get over it.
July 20, 201115 yr #4 I was the same mate. These cars are good bang for your buck, but they aren't designed for the specs.
