From Pondering A Fg F6....... To Ordering One.

Mate that's a no brainer - GS or F6... you made a good decision and bought well.

I paid top dollar to get what I wanted, when I wanted - white F6 manual with 6/4 brembos.. plenty of auto stock floating around but I 'had' to have that combination

It looks like an early August delivery at the latest.There are far more autos on dealership lots than manuals.

The dealership does have the auto F6 that I test drove with leather,but it also comes with the rear view camera,an option

that I don't need or want to pay.

So the waiting begins,meanwhile I need to decide in what colour I should order my custom rego. plates.

Black background,white letters or white background,black letters.

When I ordered mine I had the option of a 2nd hand demo, 18000kms, red, manual, 6/4 brembo's for 56k plus on roads.. just wasn't exactly what I wanted. You have got a bargain there

The stickers are optional, you can get them removed :-)

Just got an update from the salesman.The car will be delivered to FPV most likely by this Friday(15th).

I also ordered the same custom rego. plates that I have on my current XR5,but this time white letters(& numeral)on black background.

That was another $180!

My salesman also told me that they sold another white(& leather) FG F6 recently but the buyer like me,wanted a manual.The auto F6

that I test drove is still on display at the dealership.

I can't wait,after 29 years of driving it will be my first 6 cylinder car

Yep,thanks.Not only will it be my first 6 cylinder car,it'll also be my first white car!

I'm just itching to take delivery of the car.

Go for the turbo-back system, change the cat and everything, you'll get much better flow that way with a higher flowing cat and better mufflers. I went t=for the 4" dump off the turbo, hi-flow cat and twin magnaflow mufflers into the standard tip though. I don't want the boys in blue to pull up behind me and see two big 3" pipes sticking out the back! I've seen the twin pipes setup, and in my humble opinion, doesn't go with the design of the rear end. All you're doing with that setup is letting everyone know you have modded your exhaust!

But that's just my opinion!

I'm not in a hurry to mod the car but I think with the exhaust,I may require some more research.

Of course any input/opinion from guys that have modded their exhausts would be appreciated.
