Fg Ute Brakes

Just ordered my ute. White with 0 options. Am going after-market for everything except KWs (I like warranty).

Suspension is sorted through Quadrant (Bilstein kit), now its brakes.

I like the 6 spot brembo option available so will get that with some DBA rotors but what about the rear? Who makes a matching 4 or even 2 spot rear kit for the utes? I see they are an option on the FoolishlyPricedVehicles but cant find a kit after-market.

Car will be taken to Phillip Island & Sandown for a few track days so I plan to change pads & the day before.

Any body (sponsors) have any ideas?

I've just got the 6p Brembo kit on the front & it's plenty good enoughto make your eyes fall out when you stand on the pedal. I wouldn't worry about the rear, just paint the calipers to match.

Be careful with your rim selection. Ford FG 18 and 19" dont clear Brembos.

I use my FG at the circuit and found the 4 pots to be adequate for me anyway with circuit pads.

Had to upgrade my rears as some fgxr6t only cames with a solid rear disc (303mm I think), not twin ventilated. Check to see what you have. I was lucky to get some bigger calipers rear ventilated 328mm rotors (on Territory and FPV's. Maybe search for details on rear territory upgrade.

They all only come with the non-ventilated unless you get a brake upgrade.

The only time they had the vented on the T's was the BF mkI, they removed them for cost cutting in the Mk II. Good upgrade to do...

Pretty sure the rear of my BF2 is vented.

Maybe there were some rouge ones, however they 'officially' stopped with Mk II...

So is it a bolt on upgrade? No magic adaptors or anything required?
