Lots of possibilities, one could be tyre noise. Some brands of tyres are known to get noisier as they wear down. How many k's on the tyres? michaelhardy Member 104 Member For: 15y 10m 16d Posted 28/03/11 05:22 AM Author Share Posted 28/03/11 05:22 AM its a 2009 Fg, brought it low milage 2nd in 2010,, no towbar no hard lid, noise has only just started, only happens around 107 to 114 km/hr, and only when I accellerate, doesnt matter what gear its in either, if I back off the sound goes away? am going in for a wheel alignment tomorrow to rule that out..Its driving me mad?? diff maybe?? but that was only replaced 6 months or so ago..
