Hi All

03 BA Turbo owner here. I've compiled a list of modifications I wanna do to it nothing major, just for starters, but just want some feedback on the choice, wanna ask the people who know before I start forking out cash on the thing. So, in no particular order they are...

-Intercooler Kit (Already have wog cooler, maybe enough?)

-Under Battery intake

-Full exhaust (4" dump to hi-flo cat then 3.5" pipes)

-Upgraded Valve springs (Crow or Nizpro, just to be safe)

-Bigger injectors (Not too big)

-Fuel pump

-Transmission Oil cooler

maybe upgraded actuator?

and then TUNE!

anyway any feedback on the list would be greatly appreciated, let me know if I've gone astray!

If your chasing around 300rwkw... looks good! If anything a better intercooler, as with that list it will be the restriction, but if 300 / 310 is where your aiming and the fact you already have a Monza then go for it!

And about the actuator, probably not essential for the power but can add it in for better boost control. I did.

Yeah I was thinking that too, a kit will jump the price up at least another 1K though. Im thinking I'll need it anyway if I wanna go the under battery intake otherwise things'll get a bit cosy. As for the actuator might as well add it in, its only gonna help I spose!

What's your goal? If it's only 300kw, forget the exhaust and just do a 5" cat, and spend the difference on a better cooler kit.

Better cooler kit + piping will equal quicker spool, better sounding :beerchug: , looking, and alot more consistent.

I'll be happy with 300rwkw maybe a touch over, I want her to sound mean so I'll probably commit the extra for full exhaust + full intercooler kit +piping.

Any ideas on an intercooler kit that can host under battery intake? Will I have to delete the crossover after under battery?

I have a 2003 xr6t, an it only seems to me making around the 280kw mark with

- 60lb injectors

- larger front mount

- new coils

- new plugs

- heavy duty clutch

- 98 octane fuel

- flash tuner

- x force exhaust 4inch to 3.5

- high flow cat

- growler kit

Now im thinking the cams are holding me back..?

If you havent upgraded the fuel pump id say that's why the tuner hasnt pushed it any further, if you do id say there was some more in it... im not expert though but I got over 300 with less than that in my old BA

With a new IC kit it will get rid of your standard cross over, speak to RAP1D or process west, under battery intake will take as much as 350rwkw. I assume you have a auto, use my sig as a guide, only thing different is that I have a surge tank and flapper mod, and your getting a turbo back exhaust. I reckon you'll see around 320rwkw depending on your tuner.

Sorry I forgot to add that it already had the fuel pump upgraded. I know by what I have been reading over the weeks I should be seeing atleast 320kw. Paul said this model actually has smaller cams than the series 2. Would the cams out of a bf fit in a ba?
