Did he say at what boost it was running to make 398? To go any further with it has it's risks and with risks comes cost. To minimise the risk perhaps a better cooler to aid in efficency and keep temps as low as possible, bigger injectors, surge tank and pump (if it doesn't already) to minimise the chance of leaning things out if you are giving it a hard time, and a 4' dump to go with the system you already have which in theory should give the same power if not abit more as the STD one at lower boost levels. As for tuners I can't recommend anyone better than Dave sheehy or as he's known around here as blueboost, in mackay. He's done mine and the result speak for themselves plus he's a top bloke. Hope this helped and didn't make it worse. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/73621-where-to-tune-in-qld/#findComment-1085985 Share on other sites

However, If you don't mind going to the goldie (about 1hr more) High-Torque Performance in Labrador will sort you out. They (as do RDP) have some big hp XR6 T clients. They tuned my car and were very professional. Also, Chiptorque in Nerang do good work. They don't get much air play and don't do a lot of the dyno day stuff, but probably have the tidest workshop I've ever seen. Cheers, Bomber.
