Hi Guys,

I was down at the suspension place today who have suggested putting KFFL-40SSL in the front and KFRL-68SSL+ in the rear.

Every where I have read indicates KFRL-40SSL in the rear. just wondering if any one has gone the ultra low version in the rear and how the car sits.

Cheers,

Pete

Pete,

as luck would have it, have just fitted mine (1hr 5mins you slack b@st@rds)(mind you, a hoist and an extra set of hands helps......LOL).

KFFL-40SSL Front

KFRL-68SSL Rear

Pictures attached. Couldn't go any lower due to driveway issues - not to mention the XForce 3.5"exhaust and speed hump ridden Brisbane.

Many thanks to Pat at Wholesale Suspension for the advice and service.

Hope this helps. :buttrock:

Thanks for the response boys,

It was actually Suspension city where I was today Andrew. unfortunately they had run out of the front springs so we will be doing this next weekend. I think the + is the same as going 68SSSL.

Apparently by putting the SSSL in the back it sits the car flat instead of being nose down?

(Did you also have a 6 mm shim kit fitted A few weeks after install?)

Yep....you're right Pete. My problem is loads in the boot occassionally plus driveway - wasn't willing to risk the rear SSSL's for that reason. Imagine another 15mm out of the rears would sit sweet if you don't have that to contend with.

Very happy with this result for my circumstances..... excellent.

No no shim or alignment yet lol done 7000km so far like that but I'll do it soon, I will..... Ok maybe not.....

Ive also had them cold compress the springs so they don't sag after a few weeks, they are settled on right away and haven't dropped at all..

Hi Johnny,

Have installed exactly the same springs as you. when you mentioned loads in the boot etc it got me worried and decided not to put the SSSL's in the rear.

So far very happy with the job done by Damien at suspension city North Melbourne

Nice stuff PC.... that looks great! V happy with mine after a week of driving - much better control at speed; the airey faireys gone, and no driveway or carpark arguments. Simple but solid fix!
