I remember someone else on the forum mentioning it, but for the life of me cant find the thread.Problem is when my tank gets to approx 1/4 tank I start getting a gurgling/swishing sound(from tank area) Its at my dealership for warranty issues and they say they cant hear it. (typical). So if anyone one else hase experienced this and had a fix or an answer it would be greatly appreciatedCheersJimmi

Thanks KVBut it annoys the hell out of me!!Its like the rattle in my dash...Was informed and I dont know if fellow FG owners realise.. but "rattles" only have a 3000km warranty! My XR has 6k on the clock...Yep.. anything after and your on your own! I just looked at him and said your not serious.. he smiled and said yes.Anyway I took it abit further and now theyre looking into it..

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 03/11/10 05:48 AM Posted 03/11/10 05:48 AM Is he serious. Rattles only covered for 3000km ????I am going through my warrenty book and workshop manual now trying to find that quote. I can't find it yet. God I hate Ford dealers. If I cant find it and Ford tell you he is fibbing. I will personaly help you and hold that mother down while you fist him with no spit. I love my Ford but am totally embarressed by Fraud dealers and the company that is meant to back them.Seriousley though. Ford has the second worse customer satisfaction in the country. Enough of this crap is enough. They did mine at 20,000 for dash rattles and told me never again because my car was so "highly modified". It does not even have a tune. Although there is very little Ford left in the suspension side of things. But what I put in is so much better than the crap they roll out with. It is heaps less jittery than what it was std. Heaps of compression dampening and no rebound I guess. What are the std shocks anyway. Something like Gabrielle or worse. I know my upper control arm bushes were shagged @15,000k's.
jimmixr Legacy Donating Member 686 Member For: 16y 30d Posted 03/11/10 06:51 AM Author Posted 03/11/10 06:51 AM Yeah he was deadly serious unfortunately. Im in the automotive industry.. manage a workshop and we see customers come in all day every day that are disatisfied with dealerships. Bonus is we get busier.. but that's still no consellation for the owners of these "new" vehicles.I did warn him that I wouldnt settle for the 3000kms crap.. he couldnt look me in the eye. Because as at my work I can look each and every custome of mine square in the eye and stand by our work. Anyway... Will let you know more tomorrow as Ive been invited to take the "technician" for a test drive to find the rattle and the swirling fuel tank problemStay tuned !!!!!!!!

I would demand them to or I'd park my fpv in the front window of the dealership. You pay alot for the car they should want you to support them. If all else fails and your not nuts like me. Just park out the front and tell every potential customer how sh*t the service department is. They have more to lose than you do.
