Venom have some very happy customers and they appear to stand by the customers that have had problems with them.

The venom direct bolt up retails for $495. If paying more than $100 for fitting you're being fleeced.

hey tim ive got a stock exhaust on my FG F6 ute, so I should purchase the 3" into 5" Venom cat?

My tuner quoted $650 for a hi flo cat (installed) do you think that's fair enough,

because I could probably get my mechanic to install it for a few cartons..$$ saved?

Hey mate, depends what kind of power level your looking at going for. Just doing the cat will see good results as the stock exhaust is good up to about 330rwkw. I run just a Venom weld in cat not the bolt up cat pipe. Was a little bit cheaper and just got an exhaust shop to weld it in for pretty cheap

Is the bolt up' more then just the cat ? does that include pipe either side of the cat, just buying the cat was cheaper if I remember correctly

Yeah it replaces the whole factory cat pipe which connects the dump to the centre section of the exhaust after the cat (2 pipes either side). It's great if you don't wanna modify the stock exhaust, but I went the weld in one and saved about $150

Nah mate no difference.. Like Bomber said it fits in perfectly and is a lot easier than having it welded in as it's just a bolt up
