Went to get my discs machined today cause they were a bit warped, got told they couldnt machine them cause they were to thin already, so I asked them to fit up dba 4000 to the front. Went to pick car up, seen a RDA box layin near the bin didnt think much of it untill I got home, just had a look on the net and rda seem to be a manufacture of discs so im just wondering if these are actually dba or they put rda on there instead, Im gonna be pissed if they're not Dba 400 because I specifically asked for them.. I paid 360 for 2 rotors if that helps

Thanks guys

I could be totally wrong - but I have DBA 4000's on the rear of my ute, and they look a little different.

The slots are a different style and I cannot recall seeing an imprint like yours have on the edge of the disks...

Hope im wrong though!

Go get your money back or atleast ask for the dba set you payed for..

The below pic is the DBA 4000 series rotors

DBA_4000.gif

The dba 4000 have the 6X6 WIPER-SLOT which has both directions,

These look like street series slotted rotors.. which are the lower spec rotors..

Not to mention - not one leaves the factory UNPAINTED! so it looks like RDA Rotors mate..

Do a search on google for that coding on the side of the rotor..

$360 is far to cheap for DBA's but about right for RDA's.

You would be suprised... Depending on the size of the rotor and the model of your vehicle, Hiro Performance can do the DBA 4000's pretty bloody cheap and a set would come in at around that price / a touch more.

The OP didnt specify if he has a BF / BA, and if its a BA, the pricing could be ok.

Check out the DBA thread Hiro's Sponsor section for detail on pricing...

Nevertheless, if he paid for DBA's - the man should get DBA's!
