October 10, 201016 yr #3 good 60 footer as said. but is the mph is a little low or on the mark for a 4 speed? Edited October 10, 201016 yr by Boosted1
October 10, 201016 yr #4 Author PGS is the 4wd place in Mornington Joel their tuner has been a mate of mine for years He is a awsome tunerRunning 19" Street tyres with 40 psi I did have the auto set across to the sports mode on aute shift cycle so I think that restricts it to a three speedWould I have been better off leaving it in the standard setting?
October 10, 201016 yr #5 That 60ft is Fn awesome then! PGS did the exhaust on my old boys 57 F100, really neat job, sounds insane and no problems atm with 550hp.I think the norm is to drive them manually, if it shifts to 4th can bugger the box.Oh wait *Beep* will be here sonn to talk about 4 speeds.
October 10, 201016 yr #7 yep dont shift to 4th... unless you have coin for a re-build! shouldnt need to though unless you have higher diff gears. some use P, Drive and others use manual shift. that's an insane 60 footer on 19s bud! what rubber?
October 10, 201016 yr #9 Author Yep that's the one Saw it at PGS a little while agoJoel did a bit of work on it while it was thereThe rear tyres are nothing special in fact I dont even think they a both the same tyre Edited October 10, 201016 yr by jono
October 10, 201016 yr #10 4sp auto ftw! beats the zf side by side in any racing competition! bar strength and reliability lol unless your runing over 220-230km/h no need to be changing into 4th. Raise rev limiter and rev 3rd out till ~6100rpm!If you flick into 4th you smash kevlar bands. $700-800 per rebuild ;(
