Ok so I've got the fg f6 oil cooler between the block and oil filter. Now I just need a hand on how to rig it up, what hoses and fittings are needed? where do they go?

Has anyone had a problem with their oil cooler playing up?

Cheers

Ej

You can buy the two hoses straight from Ford that fit perfectly. Basically you need to tap into the water going to the transcooler. So the oil cooler and transcooler go in series one after the other.

Any idea

  • if the cooler and line kits are available for BA?
  • of the cost of the kit from Ford?
  • the cost of fitting the kit?

Regards,

Think you are better off looking at installing a true engine cooler and not the heat exchanger...

I removed the heat exchanger from my FG F6 and went with a engine cooler from PWR. I noticed a massive drop in engine oil temps.
