new to this forum and just wanted a second opionion on this deal. I've been on the market for a new XR50T in viper. just spoke to the dealer about added options and he's quoted me $48500 before onroads for the following:

XR50T in Viper auto

Curtain Airbags

Full 19" Spare

Tow pack

Reverse Cam

Tint

Is this a good deal?

paid $43,220 but no towpack. unsure if curtain airbag but has airbags in the seats. I would try him at 44k and then meet somewhere in the middle.. that viper colour is lovely !

tried to knock it down to 47K and he wouldn't budge (should've tried lower). he must know im keen to get the car though

$43K? for a turbo model in auto too? yeah viper is awesome.

I need some tactics to get a better bargain. I think they can smell im keen from a mile away

could have auto or manual, I took manual but 43,500 and had a choice of all colours ! they were all willing to do a deal at that money (all brisbane dealerships!)..bought lightning streak manual 50th anny from Q ford in springwood ! ask for Glen or Sarah , nice folk !

and viper is purple for the guy asking !
