Tail Shaft Not Spinning

I have a BF ute with a ZF 6 speed auto. I was having fun when a heard a small ban and lost all drive. I tried to select the gears in manual mode, tried reverse, performance mode and normal mode and nothing. The tail shaft is not spin and the engine doesn't load up so I arrow it down to the auto.

Does anyone have any suggests what wrong with the auto and were in melbourne I can get it fix.

Bugger, doesn't sound good. Try Kewish Automotive on 9793222. These guys rebuild ZFs and do a good job.

Checked the flex plate and it seems to be ok. I think it may be more terminal.

I'm leaning towards the oil pressure problem but I thought the ZF auto is good for 350 rwkw, I'm no wear near that figure.

Yeh, good point Worm...doh....cut and paste didn't quite work, dropped the zero on the end.

The ZF is certainly good for around 350rwkw.....plenty of guys are running around these power levels and more without issues. Mine started to complain after about 2 years of enthusiasm, and around 380rwkw. If your flexplate is OK and the output shaft is not spinning I'd say it is a job for Kewish.
