Ahmad Member 2 Member For: 15y 1d Posted 08/06/10 04:32 AM Share Posted 08/06/10 04:32 AM I am considering buying a Territory and having it converted to LPG. Is dual fuel and seven-seater configuration possible, and whether converting one of these vehicles to LPG impacts on its engine life. The other important issue is where to place the spare tyre. I'm not interested in a tyre repair kit and it useless in a blow out. What I have been told is I need a swing-away spare wheel mounting to hang the spare on the rear. Is that my only option ?Can anyone with a converted 7 seater territory shed some light on my dilemma, or anyone that has some helpful options. But he asked if it's possible in 7 seaters... "yes it is... The tank goes underneath the car..."Can't you just chuck the spare behind the rear seat if you are going on a long drive... Otherwise don't carry it and make the mrs bring it to you if you have a flat??? Posted 08/06/10 03:31 PM Share Posted 08/06/10 03:31 PM Ahmad mine came with a bracket that bolts the tyre to the rear seat belt mounts standing up right but you cant use the rear row so it goes on the Rino roof rack when we go on long drives. Looks like crap up there, hardly any wind noise but more wind noise when its not on the rack! GO THE VSI...
