I am considering buying a :roflmbo: Territory and having it converted to LPG. Is dual fuel and seven-seater configuration possible, and whether converting one of these vehicles to LPG impacts on its engine life. The other important issue is where to place the spare tyre. I'm not interested in a tyre repair kit and it useless in a blow out.

What I have been told is I need a swing-away spare wheel mounting to hang the spare on the rear. Is that my only option :innocent: ?

Can anyone with a converted 7 seater territory shed some light on my dilemma, or anyone that has some helpful options.

that is your only option the swing away unit.

As for engine should have no effect as long as you keep the services up to it.

you could put it on a roof rack, not have one and use a compressor/spare in a can or go leyland brothers style and mount it on the bonnet :spoton:

Tank goes underneath...

that's where the spare normally goes wormy...

There are kits to put it on the roof, but aside from that its swing away or nothing :Welcome2FordXR6t:

Yeah... I know... But he asked if it's possible in 7 seaters... "yes it is... The tank goes underneath the car..."

Can't you just chuck the spare behind the rear seat if you are going on a long drive... Otherwise don't carry it and make the mrs bring it to you if you have a flat???

Ahmad mine came with a bracket that bolts the tyre to the rear seat belt mounts standing up right but you cant use the rear row so it goes on the Rino roof rack when we go on long drives. Looks like crap up there, hardly any wind noise but more wind noise when its not on the rack! GO THE VSI...

Thanks for you much appreicated replies :roflmbo: , I called the off road specialist and they said that they place the spare on a bracket that attached to the towbar. I don't know about that, I may need the towbar and how am I to open the back door ? I couldn't find the swing away bracket. Could anyone help??? I live in south west Sydney, where could I get the bracket from and roughly how much would it set me back??
