Pod Filters Xr6 Turbo

Hey, Im new to falcon Turbos, previously owning a 94' ED XR6 and im progressively modifying my new BA XR6 turbo.... And recently fitted a bigger front mount intercooler, however I now cannot put the stock air intake nozzel back on.. My mate told me about possibly putting on a pod filter to replace it, but Im a little worried about the po being to close to the engine heat and making it to run like s^%t.. Any help on this would be great Cheers

Check out process west, or chris from rapid, and even plazmaman... they all have pod filter style intakes that can run under your battery inside your front bumper, where there is plenty of cool air and it's not visible to the po po.

Theres a guty on here with a pic of one. A good idea to put the pod outside the engine bay. Cooler air is denser air.

run a pod,but outside the engine bay will be best, but if you cant for some reason try to put it inside your air box with an f6 intake, and seal up or just leave the normal intake off
