LSD and TC is standard on XR6Ts. On n/a XR6 you get one or the other, but not both together.

You don't get either, you can opt for either TC or LSD I'd imagine. I'm still not sure if you can get TC on the N/A. We went for LSD.

According to the brochure I have (printed Oct 2002) traction control is available as follows:

• XT - optional on automatic
  
• XR6 - not available
  
• XR6 Turbo - standard
  
• XR8 - standard
  
• Futura - optional
  
• Fairmont & Fairmont Ghia - standard
  

It cannot be optioned with LSD (unless of course the vehicle comes standard with both [like the XR6T]).

Like I said, this brochure is a year old, so it could have changed by now.

Can anyone confirm the following brake shudder fix? – I have spoken to a brake company that has claims to have been successfully fixing brake shudder in BA Falcons. They are doing it by machining the disc’s off the car – the problems lies with Ford warranty indicating that the disc’s should be done on the car. To fix the problem you void your warranty.....
