Plans for the motor arent to much,

60lb siemens injectors

Bigger intercooler

f6 typhoon rods

valve springs

stage 2 cams

still tossing up between standard ecu with the x3 flash tuner, or a wolf 3d.

Dont know what gearbox im gonna use yet.

Will post all progress up!

Very nice. Have wanted to do something similar to my XF for the past 10 years but never got the courage to do it :)

Definitely keep us posted mate, and lots of videos once its running :stirthepot:

If the budget allows and your gonna be crackin the block to upgrade the rods, get some decent rods - atomic / spool / many other manufacturers.

If your gonna put in the effort with the F6 rods, may aswell upgrade and not have to worry about them in future.

Awesome lookin project though!

Car looks straight as.

What turbo is that?

Would love to put a decent piston and rod set in it, but really cant afford to atm, I will be pulling it back out and put in a decent set as soon as funds allow. Got the rods realy cheap so thought it was worth while for now.

Its the factory turbo.
