The Million Dollar Gauge Question

I have been looking at all the forums here about the big debate on gauges. I am trying to figure out if I want a dual or tripod. Dual seems like there needs to be another yet the tripod one looks like theres too many

People have also talked about angle and seating arrangement. Crikey I had a big enough battle going on in my mind

So now it brings me to the million dollar question. What gauge pods are best for someone who is 6ft 2 has seat on lowest setting and 3/4 quaters the way back and is very fussy when it comes to quality/asthetics. Any help would be good

Well you dont have to put your gauges up there, you could try something like what I did.

I have a single boost gauge on the a-pillar at the moment. you can easily fit any ebay 'a-pillar gauge pod' underneath the factory trim, and simply cut out the shape as needed for the angle that suits you.

This what I did. I also got Oil Temp and Oil Pressure on the Dash in Twin Pots.

I recently put in the triple, and think the angle is a little to low, Im 6ft 1 and think it would have been nicer at a slightly higher angle.

I can still see the gauges but its not 100% in my eyes. But I guess its a generic pod and you cant make one that will cater to everyone.

I'm happy with it, except what a *beep* of a job getting the mechanical oil and boost fittings (autometer) to fit

I prefer the gauges to be on the dash, its just finding the right now so many people have problems with all that Ive seen. There must be one that stands out surely...

If you are handy then you could do your own.. it is just a case of taking your time and cutting a recess into the panel for the gauges... I am going to have a go with the FG.. If I stuff it, the panels are $150 from Ford..
