25/01/10 04:45 AM25/01/10 04:45 AM #2 I bought another pipe to cut up so I could keep the original intact and under my bed, I recommend doing the same.I originally cut the pipe how you describe and added a pod, made sh!t loads of induction noise and sounded mad, took the BOV off and it dosed very loud. However, once summer hit the car is a slug on 35 degree days. During winter it was fine.I have just moved the pod to the position of the airbox so that air is a bit cooler. This is where the second pipe comes in handy. I used the original and the cut up pipe to do this. The cut up section which I didn't use as a dose pipe nicely locates the pod in the airbox position which looks stock.Performance wise I can't tell which works better, the intuitive thing would be the airbox location is better but once you get heat soaked it doesn't matter anyway Edited 25/01/10 04:47 AM25/01/10 04:47 AM by MICKAJ
