I took it to another mechanic and fixed it in about two seconds. Turns out the hose running to the boost solenoid was loose and so was another one of the hoses. My sugestion is to check all of these first and make sure that they are tight. Car would idle but would not rev or be able to be driven. Turn it off for 2 minutes start the car and it would drive fine for 3km. Then ground hog day. Limped it back to Ford and they found 2 exhaust manifold bolts MISSING in the section where the turbo meets the extractors.
