Ever since it was new, my September '08 FG ute's dash has creaked when the car goes around corners. None of my previous Fords have suffered from this. It's almost like the chassis is flexing. I don't have to be getting up it, either. Moderate cornering results in the dash creaking up near the windscreen.

It's not the only dash problem. There's an annoying buzz from the right side of the dash near the A-pillar.

Anyone had these issues? My dealer says they can't hear the problem. Sigh. :roflmbo::roflmbo:

Where do you live mate? The creaking will be the cowl top clips that secure the IP to the firewall - a bit of foam in each to preload the dash is the easiest way (alternatively its IP out and some nice felt tape to stop the material incompatibility). The buzz I would need to look at first hand - not a common fault.

I'd need some pictures to explain properly, but there's 2 clips at the top of the dash (up where if you had a dash mat it would touch the windscreen) on the extreme left and right hand sides. These will most likely be your offenders. Access is not easy, but if you remove your a-pillar trims you should have enough access to wedge some foam in to preload the clips and stop excess movement, thereby hopefully stopping the noise.
