Excedy Clutch

Hey guys.

Im currently in the process of getting a nizpro stage 2 (and stage 2+ equivlents) and Im struck out on what clutch to get. Bit short on the dollars and looking for something that will hold out for a while til I get some decent money and mal gets in some Stage 5+ kits in stock.

Anyways, I was just curious as to the quality of these.

Its an excdey sports tuff heavy duty clutch with concentruc slave cylinder.

After mods and tune I'll prob be looking at around 325rwkw or maybe a bit less. Going on a BA T56 so trying to keep all the rods inside the block. Anyway this is the clutch I was looking at...

Im pretty sure ive got the excedy clutch in mine and after 15months its starting 2 slip under load. If u could stretch it out a little id go 4 a mal opt 5 which is what im going 4.

just 2 save your money on spending twice on a clutch.

wouldnt bother with an excedy clutch...

we like to use NPC clutches.... rated to cope with well over 1100hp at the fly and feels like factory!!!

havent seen 1 break or slip yet due to too much power!!!!

Yeh that's my other thought, wait a couple of weeks and get a good one. But you should know the urge lol, I want my 300kws now lol! Is yours still a single plate? Also if you dont mind me asking, how do you drive on it? Has it had a hard 15 months? Also how much torque do you have at the tyres?

mine is the single plate. most of the time I was easy with the clutch, from time 2 time I give it a hard time. When I had high 320's atw's is was fine just when I push it past 360 after a month it started slipping.

Ahk, well ill ring around to a few people (my tuner, my mechanic that will be fitting it etc etc) and find out about it. Because if that can hold out for another year and a half then maybe I can save some more money for a forged BE and a good clutch kit. Or I might just find that im happy with what I got and ill leave it at that. More then likely I will sit at around 300-330. Constant 12's will keep a smile on my face and the Expensive Daewoo boys in the rearview. :D

it will most likely be dynomite performance. Spoke to dion there, just waiting for things to arrive from perth and sydney before I book it in.
