To get an accurate idea of what is going on, Actual throttle position needs to be logged. with these cars you can have full throttle at the pedal but the throttle blade may be closed due to some torque control etc, also if commanded position is logged it still may not show what position the blade is at.

Update

Tuner turns off all torque mangement and no more throttle closing.

Ratter was spot on.

No wonder it was slow, like driving a manual ;-)

Still have to resolve the overboost on gear changes.

Something to be resolved with the next tune. Roll on Christmas Eve.

why do we need torque control. problems with performance always seems to lead back to torque tags etc. why isnt the first thing we do is have them turned off?

Still no result with the overboosting on the gear changes.

Tuner is all out of ideas.

Anyone have any knowledge on this, so I can tell the tuner to look somewhere?

If not, would an aftermarket boost controller cure the problem?

Is it that much of a problem anyway?

Thanks for any help.

Boost is 17.5psi when I log it at WOT, on the gear change it goes to 22psi.

Has been ported twice. Once by a previous mob, and bigger again by my present tuner. Larger flapper of course.

Drags again yesterday.

Still running slow, 115 mph driven in Perf Auto.

Theoretically car has 400 rwkw, so mph is way down.

To those who spotted the high manifold pressure, spot on. At the tuner this morning who was talking to me about the 2 sensors, one in the intercooler piping and one in the manifold. I then had a flashback to the comments in this thread, eureka.

We may have an answer.

Thanks to those who spotted it :beerchug:
