is yours auto or manuel?

Mine is the 4spd stock box. It only has 60k on the clock but I want to have the money for a rebuild behind me (just in case) as its my only car and daily driver. So valve springs and some semis will be next but id say it will be a while before that happens. Yeah I was over the moon when I saw that time.

Well the results are in on my car aye and im not too happy.

Picked up the car today after getting the 5inch cat installed and tuned all for a MASSIVE 1RWKW extra, that's right im up from 256rwkw to 257rwkw.

I gotta say though it feels the best its ever been, just feels like it has so much more power than before even though its only 1kw extra, next step for me is to also take it to WSID.

that's a little strange. What boost is it running? Whos tuning it? Spose the figure on the dyno doesnt really mean much bud I really wanted the time at the strip and that is what made me smile most all last night!

well im hoping for a good time too, its running 12psi and tuned at Autotech engineering to whom which I can not speak badly about.

I also had an oil change and a transmission service done last tuesday so I dont know why it would do that (make 1kw), anyway I guess ill hope for a low 13 or possibly high 12sec pass, I mean my brother has an 11sec vl and my xr pulls harder imo.

I can imagine your disapointment with the dyno outcome mate, especially with your mods listed as my car was running 257rwkw tune only on 10psi. However could be a variance in dyno's of course... but your reassurance though will be when it runs down the quarter... that's the figure that matters. Keep us posted on your run.

mate I woulnt worry to much I have seen cars with 274rwkw run faster times than one with 287 its just the way the car is set up take it down the quater and see how you go

Good luck with the time bud keep us posted! My rubber was sh*te the other night so maybe another tenth if I get some new tires. Yeah im at a loss to your figure! Maybe your tune just isnt as aggressive as mine/ours. I dunno to be honest dont know enough about it.
