December 3, 200916 yr #1 Ok, so it's not a ford, but I do have an FG XR6 Turbo as a daily driver so I figure I should be allowed to post some pics on here of the Holden. This is my 2002 Monaro CV8 6 speed manual with the following options:L76 6 Litre, Comp Cam, PAC double row valve springs, Crane Chrome Moly Push Rods, Yella Terra roller Rockers, Modified sump & pickup, Comp Lifters, Holley 90mm throttle body, LS2 manifold, injectors and custom made fuel rails, Di Filippo 1 3/4 extractors, Di Filippo twin 3 inch system, Orssom OTR cold air intake, tuned with EFI Live, Expensive Daewoo Motorsport Power Steering Cooler, lightened flywheel and 25% underdriven pulley.Diff: Kaaz 1.5 way with 3.9 gearsClutch: Textralia Z GripGearbox: Standard with a race version RIP Shift.Suspension: Eibach Springs with custom valved Bilstein struts/shocks + Nolathane bushes throughout.Brakes: (2 sets) Road = 4 piston front and rear Ap racing, cross drilled and slotted rotors. Track = Harrop Monster brake package 6 piston front, 4 piston rear (too noisy for the street).Wheels: Breyton Vision's 19 X 9 front and 19 X 9.5 rear riding on Yokohama V103's allround.Power: 309rwkw, 786NM.Compared to the standard FG XR6 Turbo they are pretty close up to 100km/h as they both struggle for traction off the mark, the Monaro is only slightly quicker. From 100km/h to 200km/h+ the Monaro leaves the XR6 Turbo for dead and so it should with the time & dollars invested.I'm sure that for less than 5K I could have the Falcon running quicker in a straight line but would probably over heat and run out of brakes pretty quickly on the track.
