im not sure what happened, but I went to the petrol station and put in half a tanks worth...hopped back in the car and the fuel said it was still on empty with 10km range!!! has a plug or a wire disconnected somehow??? it was working fine last nite.

I have noticed there is a wire with a plug on it coming out of the ecu that isnt connected to anything. its a rather short wire (10cm max) and ive looked everywhere in the wires range but theres nothing for it to get plugged into :S

It could just be a stuck float on the fuel sender.

I would fill up the car and see if that makes any difference.

If not, you most likely will need a new fuel sender, it is not a common problem but has happened to others.
