I had a similar incident when picking up my old BA from a service at Ford. I noticed a dent in the front bumper, looked like someone had backed into with a towbar. Called them uo from home, they agreed it was their fault and within a couple of days I had the car booked in at Sheen panels. They fixed the dent and resprayed the whole bumper, all at Ford's expense. Came out looking better than before!

You put a GPS tracker in your car or you have a security tracking service that can monitor your car for speed alerts.

How do the supervisors assess that it was their reponsibility.. I.e did one of the mechanics own up and if so they therefore knew it had happened and dishonestly took the chance of returning the car to the owner hoping he/she wouldn't notice.
