  1. Don't know if it was an undercover or someone who needs to get out more but he was taking photos of other cars (and mine...) who were overtaking him. Once we stopped at the lights I returned the favour. Not sure if I'm allowed but here we go, details are: White Toyota Yaris Plate: BBK-56Z SYDNEY
  2. The storm has come and the floods are here in oz but where's the build at?
  3. Done & all sorted last night !!! It was really a two minute job..... I still don't understand why Telstra would want to have the lights on non-stop.... Anyways thanks for all the help, I love how within 1 day a problem can be solved on this forum Legends
  4. On second thoughts are they the two or three small yellow clamps rather than the entire thing...
  5. Took a look and can see the brown connector with plenty of wires is it a specific wire that has to be taken out or the entire brown connector Taking it to ford will be a last resort as I have had some bad experiences with them
  6. I want to know about this as well !!!! Have been having my fair share of electrical issues - mainly the indicator stalk/combination switch issue (solved), but now I'm having the exact same problem WayneAdo. I know for a fact that my car is an ex-Telstra car (BF MKII XR6 N/A) but regardless of the setting, the low beams just seem to be staying on. At first I didn't mind it but for the past few days I've had to do a number of rolling starts in order to get the engine going because there isn't enough left in the battery. I'll probably end up replacing the battery one way or another but is there a way to undo this option? What can I do, any ideas???
  7. BF MK II XR6T 06 I'm with AAMI, all others overcharged me, but I've done AAMI's defensive driver course as well, get a deduction, don't have any accidents or tickets so works out to be $1600 for comprehensive. I guess only time will reduce the costs.... when do they start cutting prices, as in "when do I become a safer driver?" - next bracket at 25???
  8. I bought one recently as well, was looking for over 6 months, looked absolutely everywhere, even considered interstate but ended up finding one near me in NSW. I was after a manual which seemed to be mostly located in VIC but they can be found, patience is a virtue! Look at all the websites including: this one, fordforums, carsales, carpoint, carsguide, pickles, tradingpost, the list goes on... If your not too particular about the car you want to get and you can move around in price you can find cars fairly quickly.
  9. Congratz Spiko!!! I'm sure we won't have to wait much longer for the first 9 that's there for the taking
  10. Are you sure you need the parachute But in all seriousness it looks like we won't have to wait for much longer!!! Congratulations to Spiko and 6Boost and everyone else who has been involved
  11. Like everyones said pulling it apart isnt necessary but it was just easier for me to take a look at what was happening. Plus solder and being cramped is not fun
  12. 3:30 today??? Howd it all go??? Was the 60ft better this time round??
  13. That can't be right? Is the decimal point in the wrong place or a wire mix up?
  14. wheres it all at???? manage to get everything together and do a run yet????
