Hi guys. Was reffered by another member to this site. So hi!

I have a 2004 BA XR6T running 297rwkw and my rod has decided to go boom. Ive done some research and a cheap way out is to drop a long motor in from bf or get an atomic built motor. Or even an atomic bottem end and just use the top of my motor as it is undamaged.

I have done some research on these forums and see a few people running atomic bottom ends. Is there any other competitors in the market? Or atomic engines are the only way to go?

Welp cheers for the views!

Realisticly yes they are the only option for a crate motor unless you have deep pockets for not much extra, then you could go a nizpro

skip the bf and go straight for the FG short a lot cheaper and plenty of people running 350 rwkw and more with these blocks

Yes I would go with the Fg bottom end if u want to stay under 400rwkw but if the mod bug is biting u may as well go bigger for down the track. And

ring ford ,they sell them direct ,try a few places though price seems to vary , as far as I know it only takes a small mod to one engine mount to fit into the BA , maybe PM dat40l he has done this job
