Oxygen thieves isnt a harsh enough description. I recovered a mates SMV (stolen motor vehicle), which was an old Corolla, but in pristine condition. The sh*tbag who stole it ruined the inside with all his cig butts, grog and just general filth. The mate was heartbroken. Found the guy cos he left his health benefits and dole card in the car.

Unfortunately until a magistrate or judge actually becomes the victim of a crime they will have no empathy whatsover with the community they are supposed to represent. A judge in the ACT recently copped a flogging from his son, I bet he sentences people for assault far more lengthily now.

Hopefully there is little or no damage if by some miracle, she does turns up. If there is no sign of her to be seen anywhere, I'm sure that all of us in this forum (who more than likely share the same fear for our own vehicles), will say a small prayer to the safe return of your HgAg beast. I hope that insurance won't be a problem and that you are looked after properly.

Thanks for the vibes guys. Been two days now and no contact from anyone. Makes you kinda wonder whether you want her back or not

Insurance co. wants to do an investigation (fair enough) but god knows how long they will take before they decide they will order me another or whatever they do (1st car I have had stolen). Hope they don't give me too much grief about leaving my keys in my friends ute - not much else you can do when you go out in the water though! Don't reckon even wrapping them up in a towel and taking them with me would have saved it anyway. Looks like some sort of a stake out (I go surfing everyday, same time, same place).

Everything else lost is just a bummer (phone, wallet, briefcase, wetsuits, toilet (long story), jackhammer, sunnies and more) but my wedding ring I bought in Greece last year is taking some explaining with the wife :nugget: Nah, not really, she just wants the car back too.

Have managed to borrow a car (Commodore) but I am thankful.

Best suggestion I can come up with is to make sure you always have a friend on the beach at all times who looks after everyone's valuables.

get a skin graft and tell the plastic surgeon to make a fob pouch on your scr*tum, tis the only way to stop those that have nothing better to do then to steal someone elses pride and joy... they're reason for being in this world of blue ovals and *beep* little red lions.

I wonder if I could schedule this in when I have a vasectomy. Like a 2 for the price of 1 deal etc.

The keys in the scr*tum would be convenient, however, my ability to sneak up on people would be impaired. Much like my friends cat who wears a bell around its neck.

I also think that doing the deed would be more like the ringing out of the church bells. Sure , to any woman who's experienced my attentions, it is pretty close to heaven, so the jingling of my scr*tum would fit right in.
