  2. special treat???? Mick: what the......?!?!?!? Let's hope it's not Fyshwick ← Shaz wants to go for a ride in the XC. But the XC has no pressure maker at the moment. ← Ahhhh, now I get it. I offered to have a BBQ at our place on the Friday night if'n you're keen. I hope Shazzy and Tab are going to post updates here, can't wait to hear about the fun/trouble they get themselves into
  3. special treat???? Mick: what the......?!?!?!? Let's hope it's not Fyshwick
  4. There's always an exception to every rule, and apparently I'm an exception to many many MANY rules
  5. Don't think they're mean tab, just scared Hope to see ya in Canberra as part of the loooong road trip. It's going to be awesome!
  6. Coles brand white snow drops are white choc coated marshmallow, sprinkled with coconut GOODNESS! :w00t: OMG these things are so yummy - they're evil I tell ya, evil....... *walks across road to coles to buy a new bag of 10*
  7. Thanks Shazza and Goldie. Having a quiet day at home. Not sure if Aaron has anything planned, but that's ok too. Happy Sharing Birthday-ness to 4runner, weapon and Lightning. Cheers everyone
  8. It's my burfday tomorrow *grins* We already got the presents though, all the good news about my health, and now Aaron scored himself a fulltime job with public service, we think he starts next week. Good luck Glenn! And hugs for ani Mega hoooooooge stacks on hugs for Shazzamatastic too!!!
  9. Found out on Monday that my tests are in. I am very very very happy to announce that all my tests are clear. I DO NOT HAVE CANCER - again. Lets keep up all the great work. Learning that your lifespan may be greatly diminished changes a lot of concepts and notions. I drive my dream car everyday. I wear my favourite perfurme when I feel like it, not just when it's a special occassion. Finally, spending time with people you love is never ever EVA a waste. To all in Canberra, A BBQ is happening to celebrate the results of my latest round of tests, my birthday is next week and the wedding is over. Each one a worthy cause to get together and burn meat and celebrate life and all it's good stuff. Drop me a line if'n you want to come and join the hoopla! Cheers, Mrs Kitty
  10. oh, that Bathurst thing was on wasn't it....... oops

Fisher and Paykel for us here too. It is the same model that Ian is talking about above. The auto sensing function means that it will turn off when the stuff is done rather than let it keep going on the timer. Also, you can tumble dry items of clothing that say "do not tumble dry" if you use the low setting. Handy that Good Luck Shazzy
  12. It's a natural talent
  13. Not sure yet, we always enjoyed staying down GC. Will play that one by ear I think. I know I will look forward to seeing the xr6turbo members again. A chance to sort out a few problems face to face is a great opportunity and too good to miss. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm sure there will be plenty of entertainment value to be had. Put us down as 110% positive starters for this one
  14. That would be awesome tab! We are so happy to display the car with you guys and gals, it will be a fun event.
  15. Wow, so all I gotta do now is post right?

You know you're in a rough pub when the sign above the Urinal reads: Don't eat the big white mint!! And no, I didn't actually see it, it was told to me by a friend who was a barman at the rough pub in question LOL! Cheers!
  17. You keep coming back for more........ Happy to oblige you That's what friends do, right?
  18. I have my dream car. It took a big health scare, one that had Doctors telling me I wouldn't see the year out, to make me get off my bum and do the things I had always wanted to do but put off for one reason or another. Everyone, don't just dream, live the dream. [starskynhutch] Do It! Do It! [/starskynhutch]
  19. The poem was awesome so thankyou's to Shazz for not only writing it and sending it, but also for being really good about listening to me carry on about wedding woes when I was left in the lurch. Thanks also to Scotty and tab. And XR6TU, everyone loves MX5 drivers, it's coz they like getting their top off Cheers!!!

  22. Looks like the Bruce-meister is sold. A sad sad day for us Bruce really is the best car I have ever owned. *plays the last post* *wipes tear from eye* *sniffles loudly and blows nose* I hope the next owner looks after you and loves you as much as we did. *waves, shoulders slump, walks dejectedly back into house and closes door* :sniffle:
  23. Hi Folks, The day was amazing! Beautiful weather, a late bride arriving in a black XR8 to match the cloak, fantastic people, the Imperial March, lots of laughter and happiness for all. I still pinch myself and look at the wedding ring (white gold and titanium with 9 diamonds - BLING) to check it wasn't a dream. Thankyou to everyone who attended and also helped out with the decorations and inhaling the helium...... hahahaha! The ceremony was so wonderful especially after all the hassles and let downs in the lead up. The Reception went off!!! It started off normally, speeches and comments, cake cutting and garter/bouquet throwing. After the formal stuff was out of the way, we proceeded to party hard. The DJ earn't his money that night with requests for 80's music, sung to via karaoke and helium... are we sensing a pattern? Yes, helium is much fun although we were concerned when Graeme's eyes rolled back in his head... *helium enhanced* Hey How are ya doing Sorry you can't get through Why don't you leave your name and your number and we'll get back to you */helium enhanced* The shoes came off, the dancefloor was full and many hours of laughter ensued (and that was just at my dancing style!). Then we all partied hard later on in the bridal suite.... (don't even go there!) We finally kicked everyone out at about 1.30am. Time to consumate the marriage? Oh Yeah - yello So Sunday saw an informal brunch at floriade then a BBQ dinner at our place. Monday was cruise day with all of us heading to the Cotter. Monday arvo was once again back at our place before farewelling our interstate guests. Back to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth! It always amazes me when friends are willing to travel to be near you on such a special day. The whole weekend was one massive party, it was so fantastic. Truly the best day of my life. As for you dissing me and the wedding, considering that you, Fat-Tony, have never even met me or Aaron (Mr Kitty), the typical wedding jokes are such a surprise. As I have never heard them before ever, they're so original, did you have them sent to you at your wedding? :pat: Those members from xr6turbo.com that did join the festivites, huge thankyou's for helping to create a day I will never forget. I was smiling so much that I think I got a cramp *eeeeek* Also, a HUGE thankyou to Shazzy who sent a great 'telegram' to be read out. It was fantastic :D I can honestly say it was the BEST day and there is nothing I would change if I could do it again. Cheers, Mr & Mrs Kitty
  24. Just a real quick note to say Please send us a message to be read out on our wedding day. Send your 'telegrams' to [email protected] We know there are lots of people that wanted to come but cant for one reason or another, so be there in spirit and let us hear from you during the speeches. Talk to ya's soon, when I'm Mrs Kitty instead of Miss Kitty LOL
