A quick look in the Trading Post last week and there were 10!l wonder if there is going to be a stigma attached to these cars in the future because they are a secndhand turbo car and therefore a potential money pit. Back in the late 80's / early 90's s/h turbo cars were hard to sell and the price reflected the risk potential buyers seen in these cars. Could the XR6T be facing the same fate? Still doent explain why they are so hard to sell now when they are the current car of the year, less than 12 months on the market and still not completeley freeely available without delays.l hope its not a reflection of the continuing generally poor resale that Ford has suffered ever since the AU hit the road

The enthusiasts are happy to wait and pay for a new one so there's a 'stagnant' point where the market is either tied up in a queue for a new one, or can't afford the prices being asked for used ones. And a lot of used buyers are waiting for the horror stories of the motor to emerge - looks like there aren't any yet though! Then you have the people who've been waiting for the GT etc to come on stream and get out there who may be switching camps... I anticipate the demand and supply thing will settle over the next 6 months. Ford is getting BA production speeds up to their 400 car a day paoint and that's a good thing all round. They just have to keep quality up there as well (ie don't do a Expensive Daewoo and build them so fast to meet demand for a quick buck and then have a higher rate of warranty issues with fit and finish)....
