Personalised Number Plate Costs

ok so I wanna get a personalized number plate .. from nsw by the way..

when I punch in all the details into myplates.com.au put my existing plates and the new plates I want in , it comes up with this cost ..

pro-rata $77

annual fee $440

Now when I pick up the new plates do I just pay the pro-rata , then pay the annual fee the year after on that date? or I pay the annual fee as well ??

im just confused, do I have to pay them the 77 ontop of the annual fee when I pick them up? or just pay the 77?

You pay a pro rata rate up to the next rego renewal then $440 per year. Yep it's a rip off, that is why mine will only stay on the car for 12 months.

yeah nsw gets ripped with pretty much everything, I mean its only abit of metal...!!

Yes NSW sucks! it is shocking to pay what we do! or maybe I'm the sucker for doing it!
