1st Turbocharged car here.

Big improvement on my last 3 cars I must say

1st car was a Suzuki 2 seater Hatchback. 796cc 3cyl Front wheel drive 4 speed.

Sister was hit in it by a P plater so I found a similar one for my second car.

2nd car was The same except a 980cc 3 cyl with 5 speed and Air con (great parachute button that was :P).

Both of these were brilliant on fuel ecconomy. On the highway, 20 kilometers per kilometer. About 5 litres per 100 kilometers if you like that scale :P

3rd was an EA Fairmont Ghia. Stainless steel extracted 2.5" exhaust, lowered to barely legal and body kit (the one in my avatar) Thought it was a huge improvement on the other 2.

now on to my 4th as a BA XR6T. All I can say is "Cant get enough of this" :P

The XR6T be my second turbo first one being the Clubsprint Capri at home, sure no where near as quick but it goes alright and makes the right noises .... but more importantly red convertibles pull the chicks ... ;)

Now engaged .....

I wanted a fast car that I can tell my missus .... its for a family ...

Third for me

1.Had a '90 Celica GT4. Was a nice solid car, which unfortunately meant it was a bit heavy, slow and understeery.

2. '99 WRX. I loved that car. Nearly cried when the buyer drove it away :D

3. BA XR6T sedan. Jury's still out. I really like it, but I think I prefer the smaller more nimble cars I've had before, esp. with AWD. Also, the replacement of the diff and gearbox in the first 15000 k's tarnishes the experience. Gotta love that almost endless acceleration though!

1. KB Laser Suckthrough :o

2. Dodgy Ass TE Cortina w/ 351v8 + Turbo = :pinch:

3. 90 Tx3 4x4 :innocent:

4. One week of Familia GTR :D

And now Three weeks of XR6t

ahhh.. the old vl turbo. A fun little car it was to drive too.

The first drive of it was away from the police auctions, was afraid, very afraid... a couple of weeks later, it was gimme more power... lotsa fun. good combination of a sports car and a family car. Basically a blood brother to the XR6, given the difference in age between the two!
