For those having trouble where it's just stopped working, try pulling the fuse...not a proper fix of the underlying problem but may get it working for you.

#21 from memory, cycle the ignition on and off, replace it and try it again.

hey, a mate of mine has a problem with his bluetooth in his fg, he has been using it fine and then all of a sudden it stopped working, and the bluetooth icon wont come up at all anymore, anyone had this problem?

Yep couple of times - similar to Tabs answer but bit dumber... I disconnected the battery to reset... then when in for warranty stuff got them to update bluetooth software, hasn't done it since.

Has anyone got the new iphone 3GS, I want one, I know there was alot of issues with the old iphone and not working with bluetooth, I went to my friends tonight as he has a new one, it worked sometimes, and most of the time it didnt, I have a htc phone atm and it works fine with it all the time, just wondering if updating the softwares on the phone and car would work or not, only want to know for sure if anyone is in this particular case, not after replys saying to try it, as I dont have one yet.

I've not actually got my G6ET yet, but have been wondering if I'll have problems with my HTC phone similar to what others have reported.

What HTC phone do you currently have? Does it show names on the screen?

Thanks

I have a HTC Touch Pro and the Wife a HTC Diamond.

Both work fine, but do not display names on the screen, only numbers.

I have not really had any problems with my BT in the FG.

I've just gone from a HTC tytnII to an iphone. The iphone is just a toy by comparison. It's a nifty little thing at times, but is restrictive on emailing, etc. Some things are fiddly and a few generations behind the Windows based phones. If you cna justify the extra coin on a new HTC, feature wise they're better.
