August 17, 200917 yr #1 Hey guys,For months I have been putting up with my head rubbing on the damn roof in my BF Typhoon. It's an operational electric unit as I believe all of our cars are & adjusted to go as low as possible. Unfortunately I'm a tall farker and the car has a sunroof, so the roof lining is dropped a little :(Is there anything I can do about this & has anyone done similar? Different model's seat rail? Some concealed adjustment of the stock one? Aftermarket mounts/rail's?Any feedback appreciated.Cheers,Kael.
August 17, 200917 yr #2 that's fuked dude, nuffin I hate worse im 6,4 fortunatly its ok 4 me but I hate getting in customers cars where the roof lining has dropped and your head rubs on it lol. who no's wat deseases u can pik up from the fukers. but bak 2 your point, I dont recon the seat can go any lower ive nevers sceen any adjustment when ive had the seats out, y dont u just ly bak farther gangsta style? crank some tunes and get that arm out the winda?
August 17, 200917 yr #3 the stock electric seat adjustment lever controls both tilt of the base and height. I like my base to be tilted back a little (to grip my thighs a bit) so the overall height can't be as low as possible. if you can handle the base being flat, then it will go lower.
August 18, 200917 yr #4 Only solution I ever had when driving these things when fitted with a sunroof was to tilt the seat back (homie style). Not real practical though. If you're really serious you could get the oxy out and remove the sliding/tilt mechanism and just fix it where you want it....but that would probably breach a few design rules and be sh*tfull for anyone else driving it.

August 18, 200917 yr #7 Author Thanks guys, especially you Adrian. The roof lining hasn't sagged, it's just naturally a inch or two lower because of the sunroof.Tabby, yer dart.

August 23, 200917 yr #9 get rid of that gay hair-style... if you shave your head ala dyke spec, you will be fine.the only way you will get it lower, is by either1) retrimming the seat to be lower2) custom rails, but that means fixed position, and then the wiring becomes an issue3) different seat, same issues as #2
