The Issue Of Choice

Ok folks, having been bitten by the bug I have decided to get serious with my BA and create a targa style weapon but as a result now need to find a suitable daily driver.

Choices are a BF F6 with 20,000km or an FG XR6T with 5,500km. Both with ZF.

Price being near enough to the same and accepting that there will not be any mods at all.....which to buy?

Experiences and advice welcome.

FG hands down mate... power and turbos aside, it will outhandle the BF big time.

Ah I see, daily driver ( thought you were building a targa car based on FG or F6)

For a daily the F6 might hold value better

F6 will hold better resale plus it has way better styling over the XR6T, it ll stand out more plus your getting leather etc if u get the right F6, an 20k is nothin in the life of a car

Targa toy will be using my BA. I wouldnt have the heart to rip the guts out of an F6 :o

The BA project will be a thread in its own right but for now the task is to decide on what will become my daily driver.

The other variable is mileage....I currently do about 40000km annually so perhaps that might impact of resale. The truth I will have to keep whichever car I buy for 3 years if I am going to fund the BA project.

BA XR6T with a 100k on the clock lucky to get 16-18k for it. BA2 F6 100k on it, 30-32 goin carsales I dunno if that's anythin to go on but a FG XR6T is gonna be worth nothing in 3 years just like current XR6Ts that are 3 years old

Go the FG...miles ahead of the BF in just about every way (even a phoon)

Just for a bigger body kit, is going backwards.

The F6 will give you more street cred, that's about it.

FG is faster, better handling, better on fuel etc, etc. To me BA/BF are starting to look a little old(ish).
