Dreamscience Dsf3000

My mate has a xr8 ba 03 auto ute and has this dreamscience dsf3000 as his tune box. Alright from what I can tell it looks just like an xcal2. It is powered by sct ssame as the xcals. It does everything that the typical flash tuners do. I have the obdII cable for it and a USB and a software cd. My mate has returned his car back to stock so it is unlocked. It was purchased from BPS in brisbane prob 2 years ago. Well that's all the info I have off the top of my head. Question is if I take this to any tuner with the software cd will they be able to load the 3 tunes just like the capa sct branded ones as they are exact;y the same as I can tell??? Some feedback on this would be great as im getting it for a damm good price I just dont want to shoot myself in the foot.

Happy to be proved wrong but I dont think the DS boxes work with the XR's....

well dags proven wrong. This xcal2 has been in an xr8 for some time and sais it is compatible with any ford vehicle with an obdII but I dont want to take it to the tuner that he used.

Probably a good idea to pick your tuner and give them a yell dude, no one here can speak for them. They each have their preference on gear they use and are experienced with so that'll be your best bet I reckon.

yeah mate added u to msn got hold of the distributer for them too so being sct branded any tuner that uses sct sortware can upload tunes to it. It has different firmware so that not only can this box be used on aus vehicles it can be used on any ford with obdII ie cars from europe.
