For the sake of a tiny bit more turkey gobble, personally man I wouldn't bother. You've got the 4" intake which is the best intake setup there is! - Just cram more boost into itGet YPURV4 to show you his setup. he loves the dosey dose Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59304-dose-pipe-rubbing-against-power-steering-pipe/#findComment-902409 Share on other sites

Disturbing a non leaking hose will most likely cause it to weep. The alternative to replacing the line from the pump is replacing the nut on the end of it. I am not 100% sure as it has been a while, but from memory its only about $10 from Ford. It is retained by an internal circlip and "snaps" on and wont come off. So, you must use a 4" angle grinder or pneumatic die grinder with cutting blade and "split" the nut... This must be done carefully to avoid cutting into the pipe. But is easy to do, save $450 and only take 30 mins Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59304-dose-pipe-rubbing-against-power-steering-pipe/#findComment-909863 Share on other sites
