July 5, 200917 yr #1 What are your opinions on getting a boost gauge for this car? Has anyone done this or know of any options?
July 5, 200917 yr #2 Nup. Never done before, you are entering uncharted waters. Good Luck. I think the issue is somewhere between the hidden wire and the polariser.
July 6, 200917 yr #3 The lack of mounting positions makes it hard to do a neat and tidy looking guage install, and there's no aftermarket pods around yet that I know of.I mounted mine near the steering wheel down low... not the best place for it, but I dont mind as I didnt want guages to be too visible.
July 6, 200917 yr #4 I installed my boost gauge in at a car wash haha with couple mates were bored and I mounted it on top of the steering wheel.. I got a 3 pod gauge holder that I dont use.,,, if that helps
July 6, 200917 yr #5 I mounted it on top of the steering wheel..Can I see a pic of it ontop of the steering wheel? Does it make it hard to turn and see the boost at the same time? I need another drink! LOL Edited July 6, 200917 yr by GR8XR6
July 6, 200917 yr #6 ill get a pic for ya tomorro but yeh its not bad I jut duck taped it down lol I jst wanted it on there dont realy care haha its not bad for me not like you wanna watch boost while your turning into your house
July 7, 200917 yr #9 You guys are getting worse... A boost gauge is good because you can tell if the car is overboosting.Any turbo car should have a boost gauge. Almost as vital as a fuel gauge sometimes!Pole position (site sponsor) do a good mounting setup, look them up.Otherwise you should try ebay for a FPV F6 mounting setup.
