Does anyone here know what sort of power the stock conrods can take on the BF XR6T motor?

Just wanted to find out as this will make me decide whether to mod my motor or not.

Cheers.

Hi mate,

From one of your other posts, I have read that you have a BF MKII.

Have a read of this mate - I'd assume High 300's to low 400's before things start going *bang*

Have a look in the 300+rwkw/400+rwkw sections to see how members have acheived their numbers.

there only as strong as the tune that goes in them. Theres still been the rare mid 300's where they've gone pop but then again there quite a few that run above 400 all day & get raced regularly & are fine. Still abit of a luck of a draw thing but with a good tune & good fuel high 300's maybe abit more without a prob.

Seems to me that guys put too much ignition advance into these engines when under heavy load ie aggressive tune.....then pop. Also, keeping the foot into it without always listening for pinging is death to all boosted engines. Sure, it might be more "lively" but at what long term cost?
