June 30, 200917 yr #1 just brought a pwr cooler of a forum member but after doing a bit of reaserch of old topics I here nothing but bad about the type ive now got I assume its a twin pass please let me know any info on this cooler and if its worth keeping my aim is 300kw
June 30, 200917 yr #2 its not a pwr and I think its a bit of a silly design, IMO there will be massive pressure drop as th eair has to turn around and come back through such a large area
June 30, 200917 yr #4 Author I email the pic thru to pwr they said it was one of there erly designs, so im pritty sure that its a pwr, im pritty sure that's what I read senna that it droped alot of pressure and that's why they changed the design. hmm... anyone used one like this?
June 30, 200917 yr #6 Author $500inc postage it came with a plazmaman ubp aswell, I sent bruce a pm as he will be tuneing the car once I have all the gear
June 30, 200917 yr #7 I may have been a little hasty saying it wasn't PWR, but I've only seen the other units (one I used to own)...
June 30, 200917 yr #8 Author yea I seen a pic of urs in an older post that's the newer one and the good one from what I can gather
June 30, 200917 yr #9 Author is the cooler a refered to as a twin pass design? also do you think it would work better than a wog cooler? Edited June 30, 200917 yr by jasol
June 30, 200917 yr #10 I spose if you think about the way the air has to travel, as it goes through the core on the first pass it will compress as it hits the short end tank and head up, then as it finds its way back into the core for the second pass the size of the core will create low pressure again before it heads into the piping.Since you already have it you may as well see how it goes then save up some dollars for a bigger kit that is a single pass like Rapid or Process West to run some nice numbers. You can always sell it on Ebay to someone looking for a low level upgrade
