I've recently had some work done to my TTG which I bought new March '08. I originally purchased a flash tuner at christmas which I was told had a 10psi tune. This was great, however wanting to do the job properly I had bigger injectors and a custom tune done, which came out to be around 280rwkw at 12psi. Since then I've had a couple issues, the biggest one was the engine light kept coming on for an O2 sensor issues. We replaced the 2 with new ford varients (no warranty apparently) which brought out another issue "too rich bank 1" was the code my ford guru told me. The light only came on around 15-20% engine load at low speeds. The tuner has since fixed this issue I think (been OK so far this week). The 2nd issue has been ever since the injectors have been fitted we've had 'surging' issues. Between 2000-3500rpm, the boost seems to come on and off fairly severely sometimes even noticable when towing up a slight incline at 100km/h. I've included a dyno sheet which should give a bit of an idea. My question is, would this be a tuning issue or should I do a boost actuator upgrade or am I completely on the wrong track?2nd issue is a similar sort of one but not to the same extent. I've got a 2005 BAII XR6T 6speed which at the same time as the territory I've had the following mods done, Injectors, Intercooler, Fuel Pump, Cat, Dump Pipe, Exhaust, Valve Springs, Boost Actuator and Clutch. Came out at around 325rwkw. The problem here is similar, boost come on and off, but not nearly to the extent, around 0.5psi according to the tuner, which he suggested would be fixed by fitting a 'flapper wheel' for around $500 and could be done without needed a retune.Just wondering if the tuner is on track and if the pricing would seem accurate? Its a bit of a distance for me to travel to the tuner and was wondering if I could source the parts and fit myself easily?Any help would be much appreciated! Dyno sheets below, Thanks!
